Praise Reports conversations are stored online for the two connected accounts after they agree to connect. Messages and sender-chosen badges arrive directly once a connection is accepted. Reported messages are hidden from the reporter and recorded for review. Ending a connection or stopping its original prayer link does not erase earlier Praise Reports.
My Anchors and imported meditations are never sent to AI. They are backed up privately by default when signed in. You can turn Automatic backup off in the menu; existing cloud copies are kept. Guest entries stay on this device. Account backups store your prayer text, Scripture, updates and journal privately under your signed-in identity. Generated images and recordings stay on the device. You can also export a text backup. Encouragement notes are stored online only after the sender agrees: the prayer organiser moderates them, and approved notes are visible through a separate private recipient link. Anyone with that link can read approved notes and report them. Reported notes are hidden until reviewed by the organiser. Reports and messages expire with the shared prayer; stopping sharing removes them. Keeping a note in My Anchors creates a separate local copy.
When you choose to generate an image, the displayed prayer is sent to OpenAI to create an uplifting illustration. Prayer and Scripture images are saved only on this device with your prayer; shared prayer links and circles do not include them. They express hope and are not a prediction or promise. When you choose AI prayer writing, the first name, request and prayer focus are sent through this app to OpenAI. Use only information you have permission to share, and avoid full names, addresses or identifying medical records. OpenAI processes this information under its API data policies. We request that responses are not stored as API response objects; this does not remove any provider retention required by its policies. OpenAI API data policies.
The app creates a shareable online copy only when you explicitly choose to share a prayer. Anyone with that link can read the approved prayer and forward the link. Recipients can send a prayer confirmation and optional first name, visible only through the sharer’s activity controls. Shared links expire after 90 days and expired records are cleaned on subsequent link creation; stopping sharing removes the online prayer and its confirmations. The sharer’s access controls stay in this browser. If you enable notifications, the server stores your browser’s push subscription and links it only to shared prayers whose management controls are on this device. Notifications are delivered through your browser’s push provider (such as Apple or Google); messages contain no names or prayer text. Turning notifications off removes this device’s server subscription. The server also keeps usage counters and daily network-address hashes to limit costs and abuse. A browser cookie helps avoid duplicate confirmations on the same prayer in one day. Your personal saved prayers, updates and sharing controls are stored on this device. When signed in, their text and sharing controls are backed up privately to your account and restored on your signed-in devices by default. Turn Automatic backup off in the menu to stop new uploads without deleting existing cloud copies. Without backup, clearing browser data or losing the device may lose your entries. Anyone with access to this browser may be able to read local entries. Sign out when using a shared device. Starter prayers use no AI service.
Prayers are AI-assisted wording for you to review and make your own. Scripture quotations come from a fixed KJV passage collection. The app does not promise healing or replace medical care. Audio reads the saved words while the app is open; people choose to pray.
